CM Punjab Free Livestock Program 2026: Complete Guide for Rural Women to Get a Free Cow or Buffalo
Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has officially launched the registration for the CM Punjab Free Livestock Program 2026.
This multi-billion rupee welfare initiative is specifically structured to financially empower impoverished rural women across South Punjab. Under this program, selected women will receive a free cow or buffalo valued between PKR 2 Lakh and PKR 3 Lakh. - Marital Status Priority: Absolute preference is given to widows (بےوا) and divorced women (طلاق یافتہ).
- Age Limit: The applicant must be up to 55 years old. Applications from women exceeding this age will be automatically rejected.
- Poverty Score (PMT Score): The applicant’s household Poverty Score (Proxy Means Test Score via BISP/NSER data) must be 32 or below.
- Clean History: The applicant must not have benefited from any government-funded livestock scheme within the last 5 years.

- Original CNIC: The applicant’s valid Computerized National Identity Card.

- Open your mobile or computer browser and search for “Live Stock Punjab”.
- Click on the official website for the Livestock & Dairy Development Department Punjab.
- Open the registration form link and fill out the fields:
- Personal Info: Enter the applicant’s name, guardian/husband’s name, CNIC number, and Date of Birth.
- Marital Status: Select whether the applicant is a Widow or Divorced.
- Contact details & Address: Provide an active mobile number and current home address.
- Select Location: Choose your Division first (Multan, Bahawalpur, or DG Khan). Once selected, your specific District, Tehsil, and Mauza (village area) will automatically appear in the dropdown menu for you to select.
